# Chainlink launches 24/7 pricing for tokenized stocks with Aave as partner

*Chainlink 24/7 provides continuous pricing for tokenized assets during weekends and market holidays using perpetual futures data.*

Chainlink launched Chainlink 24/7 on October 29, 2026, a service that extends pricing for stocks, commodities, and other traditional assets through weekends and market holidays. Aave is the launch partner and will use the feeds for Horizon, its institutional lending platform, beginning with tokenized versions of heavily traded US stocks.

When traditional markets are open, Chainlink 24/7 sources prices from regular and extended trading sessions. When markets close, the service switches to a reference built from quotes on multiple perpetual futures venues. It filters stale inputs and limits the influence of outlier prices to maintain a single continuous price series. The off-hours price reflects derivatives trading, not trades on the closed exchanges.

Previously, onchain applications holding tokenized stocks had to pause markets, use the last available price, or build their own systems when exchanges were closed. Lending protocols can access these prices as onchain Data Feeds. Trading platforms and prediction markets can use Data Streams, which update faster and indicate which market session is active.

In January 2026, Chainlink introduced 24/5 pricing for US stocks and ETFs, covering pre-market, regular, post-market, and overnight sessions. According to Chainlink, its weekday pricing supports more than $1.6 billion in tokenized stocks.

Aave Horizon, built on Aave Protocol version 3.3, allows qualified investors to borrow stablecoins against tokenized real-world assets, Aave Labs said.

Protocols and agents trading or lending against tokenized stocks around the clock now have a weekend price to act on.
