Polygon Labs and Solana announced on October 29, 2026, that Polygon’s Open Money Stack payments infrastructure is now available on Solana. The integration allows businesses to use Polygon’s banking connections and payment services without merging the two blockchains. Stablecoin transfers remain on Solana.

Through Open Money Stack, businesses building on Solana can accept bank transfers, card payments, and cash via supported providers. They can also create customer wallets, move assets between blockchains, and send funds to bank accounts through one integration. According to Polygon’s documentation, the stack provides enterprise payments infrastructure for stablecoins and tokenized deposits, designed to integrate with existing systems rather than replace them.

Kira, a cross-border payments company, is an early adopter. It uses Solana for stablecoin transfers and Polygon’s banking connections to let customers pay overseas suppliers in dollars.

Solana has processed over $5.7 trillion in stablecoin transfers this year, said Jamal Raees, general manager of payments at the Solana Foundation. Polygon has recorded more than $3 trillion in total transfers since launch, a figure that includes wallet-to-wallet transfers, not just payments.

“Businesses shouldn’t have to rebuild their payments infrastructure for every network,” said Aishwary Gupta, global head of business at Polygon Labs.

Raees said, “Our focus is to make it easier for payment and stablecoin activity to continue to scale on the network.”

The two networks were previously competitors. Polygon recently added TRON support to Open Money Stack and acquired U.S. crypto payments company Coinme.
